If you are new to yoga, we have a great place to get started. More of our teachers have advanced certification than any studio in Georgia, and we love beginners!
For an overview of yoga before taking a class, attend our free introductory discussion on Tuesdays at 5:30pm or talk with an instructor.
Yoga Basics classes are for beginners and beyond who want a complete experience of centering, forward bends, back bends, and twists, both standing and floor poses. The NEW Yoga 101 class is great for students of all ability levels who would like to deepen their understanding of yoga’s foundational poses.
If you have health concerns, consider beginning with Gentle Yoga or Unwind Yoga.
As always, each class finishes with a delicious savasana to receive and integrate all of the benefits.
How to Prepare for Your First Class
Ready to sign up for your first class? These simple pointers will help you get started.
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows a full range of body movements.
- Avoid full meals two hours prior to class.
- Yoga is an internal practice so chatting during class is minimal.
- If you have an injury or condition that we should know about, please let your teacher know before class.
- Yoga is non-competitive.
- Relax and have fun!
