I am an E-RYT 200, RCYT and creator of Pre-Grounded Yoga for ages 3-6.
I have been practicing yoga for over twenty five years and took my very first 200 Yoga Teacher Training in 1999 at the Peachtree Yoga Center and have been teaching since.
Here is a little secret: during my 200 hour YTT in Hatha Yoga I fell in love with Kundalini Yoga which led me to also take the Kundalini Yoga Teacher certification under the guidance of beloved teacher Mukta Kaur Khalsa; thus I am a Yoga Alliance member as well as member of the Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA).
My personal yoga style is an integration of the various types of yoga that I have studied and practiced with many teachers throughout the years. I strongly believe that yoga is a way of life that brings peace of mind, physical strength, health, vitality, and enhances spirituality. My classes reflect my dedication of maintaining the sacred integrity of yoga and my heartfelt commitment to enjoying the practice on and off the mat.
The most fun I had during any of my many yoga teacher trainings was during the Laughter Yoga Teacher Training that certified me to be a Laughter Yoga Leader to hold Laughter Yoga classes and workshops.
Years worth of experience and knowledge allows me to shine when I teach Special Needs Populations. I give 100%, nothing less each and every time. I connect on such a deep level with the Special Needs Population and it shows during my teachings.
I teach adults Hatha Yoga Basics and All Levels Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga and Meditation and to kids 3 and up Pre-Grounded and Grounded Kids classes.
I lead many workshops for public and YTTs, trainings and special events throughout Atlanta and USA.
I have two amazing adult children who inspire and motivate me everyday. I still can embarrass them when I do yoga poses in public, but I know they are proud of me and support me with everything I do.
