Yoga can change your life. It was back in 2007 when Huelya first experienced the power of yoga: her back pain was healed, her mind stayed focused and calm during challenging times, and her soul smiled in joy each time she showed up on the mat. Throughout the years she experimented with various styles of yoga and other modalities in different corners of the world, as well as tapped into the depth and joy of meditation.
She believes in the power of compassion and silence – her classes invite you to enjoy the stillness and discover with kindness your being’s current state. Expect to explore breathing techniques (pranayama), to dive deep into yourself in the poses (focus on awareness of sensations) and to get a feel for a meditative state.
Huelya is grateful for having received her 200hr Yoga teacher training at Peachtree Yoga Center under Graham Fowler, Betsy Blount and Ilona Moore, as well as Yin Yoga certification under Douglas Johnson. She mostly enjoys teaching yin and yang/yin classes.
