In a nurturing and safe environment that is welcoming to students of all levels, Karen encourages and supports each student’s personal yoga journey towards finding their sense of inner peace and sanctuary. Every yoga class taught is an opportunity for Karen to help others slow down, smell the roses, and savor the present moment. The energy in her class is warm, gentle, and flowing. She recognizes and respects that we all come to our mat for different reasons; thus, postures are accessible and modifications are offered to assist or challenge the practitioner further. Breathing is always a focus in her class, as well as taking time to pause and reflect, and let the residue of the practice settle within. You will leave your mat feeling calm, refreshed, limber, and relaxed.
Karen is RYT-500 certified through Peachtree Yoga Center. She holds deep gratitude for the multitude of teachers and mentors she has studied under, especially Graham Fowler, Ilona Moore, and Elizabeth Smith. She also is also certified in Restorative Yoga studying under Judith Lasater.
“We all reach in life. We all reach for different things, at different times, and for different reasons. Yoga has helped me reach both inward and outward, and I feel honored and blessed to help others reach for whatever they are seeking. Namaste.” Karen
